My baseball team is horrible...

My Texas Rangers are simply awful. Their owner needs to sell them. The best trade they could do would be to give whatever player they had with any amount of money to get back their former GM Doug Melvin. Texas got rid of him because he couldn't beat the Yankees in the 90's... But nobody could beat the Yankees while they were winning their World Series championships. Melvin built up their farm system, and now they have no good young players. Good lord, he brought them to the playoffs for the first time (and last).

The owner can't make up his mind. One year, he wants to spend big money on a free agent. The next year, he wants to be cheap and play the youth. Melvin got his orders from Hicks and got rid of Juan Gonzalez; Hicks wanted to go cheap. Melvin focused on getting young players. Before we knew it, Hicks changed his mind again and we found ourselves watching A Rod get a quarter of a billion dollars. After Melvin, we got a GM who depleted the team's farm system. And the knucklehead wanted to get rid of Michael Young. Now we have a GM who has no real experience in evaluating talent like Melvin. So the Rangers have used or traded all Melvin's young talent, and the fans are left holding the bag. Melvin is cruising with a first place team in the Brewers. Ranger fans get to watch games in which the batters have to overcome a 7 point lead, players popping out in crucial situations, passed balls, giant ERAs, cut-off men being overthrown, and just plain horrible baseball. We have a team that doesn't seem to care that they're screwing up as long as they keep getting a paycheck. My Rangers need Doug Melvin back... They won with Melvin, and the team was fun to watch. We will even give up our owner to the Brewers in a trade.

What's it like to be a fan of real major league baseball team?...
